Join us for three days of outside play. Activities are varied, interactive and fun. We promise, your kiddo will come home dirty and happy to have played outside. We will be outside throughout the camp day – appropriate clothing is suggested.
Activities likely to include: short hikes, relays, nature creatives, shelter building, campfire construction, Leave No Trace principle games and nature journaling.
6-12 years of age
To save parental time, parents can meet Stacy at the Archuleta County Fairgrounds at 0745 for kiddo transport to basecamp. Kiddos will be returned to the fairgrounds at 1300. Basecamp is roughly 20-minutes from the fairgrounds.
Wednesday – 0800 to 1300 – camp play and fun/1700 to bedtime – overnight camp play and fun
kiddos that participate in the overnight camp will be picked-up on Thursday at 1300
Thursday – 0800 to 1300 – camp play and fun
For students, and their parents, who register for the program. Overnight camping begins on Wednesday at 5 pm and includes a campfire dinner, games/activities and breakfast on Thursday morning. A suggested list of items to bring to camp will be provided (i.e. sleeping bag, sleeping clothes) will be provided to registrants.
$75 per student – day program
$100 per student – day program and overnight camping on Wednesday
$25 per parent – overnight camping on Wednesday
All program materials, nature journal, lunch and snacks each day of the program and breakfast and dinner for overnight camping.
Minimum of 3/Maximum of 6
August 11th at 1600 – registration is first request, first reserve
Parents must advise of allergies and medical conditions the Friday prior to camp by 4 pm. We provide healthy, nutritious and filling meals. We attempt to prepare meals that the entire group can enjoy together regardless of medical conditions and/or allergies but cannot do this without prior notification.
All parents must sign a Liability Form prior to the start of camp.
